Recently SA Great  made a shift in its strategic intent  to ensure that greater focus is placed on promoting South Australia outside of the state, resulting in an increase in business investment and talent within our state.

SA Great's objective is to create a fantastic impression of South Australia by demonstrating business capability, highlighting industry development and growing state confidence.

Entries are now open to those that have been nominated for the 2009 SA Great Regional Awards.

The 2009 SA Great Regional Awards are open to residents of South Australia who live/work in regional areas and have demonstrated excellence in the arts, community work, business, innovation, sustainability, sport, tourism or youth.

2009 marks the 10th anniversary of the SA Great Regional Awards, which was celebrated at a special anniversary event featuring previous Regional Award winners, sponsors and media supporters.

SA Great's BuySA competition was a huge success with over 2000 entries received!

The competition was run in conjunction with Holden and its SA Dealer Network, as well as SA's Foodland Supermarkets. Consumers had to buy 2 or more nominated SA products at participating Foodland Supermarkets to enter the draw.

Prizes included 10 $100 Foodland shopping vouchers and a Holden Omega Sportwagon valued at up to AU$41 464.

The lucky winner of the SA-made Holden Omega Sportwagon will be announced on May 29 2009!

The SA Great Annual Dinner will now be held on Friday 20th November 2009.

SA Great will combine this year’s Annual Dinner with the 2009 South Australian of the Year Awards Ceremony. Check the Events Program for more details.

SA Great has recently taken over the management of the South Australian Business Ambassadors Network or SABAN as it is commonly referred to.

South Australian Business Amabassadors identify - or in other ways contribute to - opportunities that are of benefit to South Australia.
