2007 Workplace Retention Survey Results
31 October 2007
What do generation X and Y really value in the workplace?
Now more than ever, employee retention in the workplace is a hot topic.
Local research company Square Holes, working with SA Great and the Australian Institute of Management (AIM) surveyed over 800 younger South Australians on this important subject.
The workplace retention research project commenced with a series of targeted focus groups, held to develop the questionnaire. The online survey was open to South Australian employees under the age of 40, across all levels of an organisation, ranging from administration to upper management.
The results of the survey were presented at a luncheon on 31st October 2007, and provide new and valuable insights into what South Australian employers can do to retain people under 40 in the workplace.
